Cancer View Canada
Cancer View Canada (a CPAC program) connects Canadians to online services,
information and resources for cancer control. It is an ever-evolving portal that brings together resources for cancer prevention, screening, treatment, and supportive, palliative and end-of-life care. Through its collaborative tools, Cancer View Canada also links people in the Canadian cancer community to each other.
Canadian Cancer Action Network (CCAN)
CCAN is one of the projects of CPAC (as described above). It is a group that describes itself as follows:
We are a volunteer-driven, incorporated organization dedicated to ensuring patient interests remain a key priority on the national cancer agenda.
Uniting cancer-site patient organizations from across Canada under one umbrella:
- We work collaboratively with key stakeholders from the cancer community to advance patient interests.
- We bring an informed patient perspective to all key areas of the cancer control continuum.
- We engage with key decision makers to ensure a national system that optimizes care and treatment outcomes through all phases of cancer control continues to evolve.
CCAN Members Council is currently comprised of 17 prominent national cancer-site organizations; 5 population organizations; 9 provincial CCAN chairs and 7 Canadian Partnership Against Cancer Action Group representatives.
Canadian Psychosocial Oncology Partners (CPOP)
CPOP Online is a virtual community, where people engaged in psychosocial services, education or research for Canadians affected by cancer can share their knowledge and resources.
Cancer Patient Education Network (CPEN)
CPEN is a group of Health Care Professionals who share experiences and best practices in all aspects of cancer patient education.
