Your Donation

Thyroid Cancer Canada does not benefit from core funding, operating funds, or sustaining financial support from any corporation, government grant program, or elsewhere.  We do not charge a fee for membership to TCC, nor any fees for our products or services

As TCC does not charge membership fees, and all our programs and projects are provided without cost to patients, donations from our members and others are very important to sustain our programs.  The programs, projects, committees described on this website are led by volunteer patients and all funds raised go directly to our programs.

Thyroid Cancer Canada is a Canadian registered charitable organization. All donations are acknowledged with an official receipt for tax purposes.

2.  Online at the CanadaHelps website www.canadahelps.org

Donations made at CanadaHelps are acknowledged by them and they provide an immediate tax receipt on our behalf.  Enter Thyroid Cancer Canada in the search engine at www.canadahelps.org. CanadaHelps also allows you to specify an honouree or "in memory of" when you make your kind donation, and TCC will happily acknowledge the person or family, should you provide that information.

4. Donate Your Points

TCC participates in Shoppers Optimum Points^®Donation Program.  That is, if you have a Shoppers Drug Mart Optimum card you can choose to donate your accumulated points to Thyroid Cancer Canada.  For more details, visit http://www.shoppersdrugmart.ca/english/optimum/donate_points/index.html

5.  TCC gifts

As a token of our appreciation we provide small gifts for donations made at various levels of donation. At this time, gifts are only offered to those who make a donation by mail. See the Gift Donation form for more information.
