Theresa-Marie's career has been in health administration, holding senior executive positions in policy and program management at the federal and provincial governments as well as in clinical and public health management. She was the principle organizational architect who created Cancer Care Nova Scotia, the provincial cancer agency. Theresa-Marie is a committed volunteer at the community and national levels, particularly in the areas of health policy, child welfare and sport. Theresa-Marie brings the knowledge of health systems, advocacy and a strong belief in the value of the patient’s lived experience to the table to effect change in order to improve outcomes.
